VLDxOC Drabble: Dangerous Measures

"Thanks again, Keith. Great job out there."

"Thanks. You too, Shiro."

Keith turned his back and walked toward the Blade, about to depart when...

"KEITH!"

As he heard his name, his girfriend Lea sprinted toward him, entrapping him in a tight embrace.

"L-Lea?" He could hear her crying softly as his hands went to her back, returning her hug.

"Why...?" She sobbed, "Why did you have to do it?"

"Do what?" 

She broke free from his grip and glared at him. "Don't you dare ask me what you did! You know what you did!"

"Lea, what the fuck are you talking about?" Keith asked her.

"You were about to go into that fucking Galra ship!" Lea cried, "You were about to-" She continued to break down into sobs, sinking down into his chest.

Keith's heart sank as he recalled what he did. 


"We'll never penetrate those shields!" Matt warned Keith.

The young Marmorite's eyes narrowed. "Maybe not with our weapons..."

"Keith???" "What are you saying?" His girlfriend asked as he aimed his ship towards the shield.

"Wait! Keith! What are you doing??" Matt asked.

His ship headed toward the weapon, attempting to stop it.

"KEITH?! WHY?" She screamed.

"Keith, NO!" Matt yelled.

"Lea... I love you... I'm sorry..." He whispered.

"KEITH! DON'T DO THIS PLEASE!" 

"I love you..."

"DON'T DO THIS! PLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEE!"

Headed straight towards the weapon, and his possible demise, Keith shut his eyes tightly.


"Lea, I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do-"

"You scared me half to death! Damn you!" 

Grabbing his face, she fiercely kissed him, catching him off guard.
